As a vegetarian myself I was always looking for an easy way to find only the current vegetarian options of the university's mensa. As I could not find any app or website that provided this functionality I decided to create my own. Mensa Menu is designed to help students and university staff easily find and filter menu options based on their personal preferences. And as I have many non german speaking friends I also wanted to provide an app that translates the menu into multiple languages besides German and English. As of right now the app supports German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Hindi, Japanese, Swedish and Chinese.
To avoid legal issues regarding the right of images, Mensa Menu uses AI-generated images for all menu items. So please note that the images shown in the app do not represent the actual meals served in the mensa. The app is not affiliated with the University of Stuttgart or its Mensa in any way. All rights for the menu data and names belong to the Studierendenwerk Stuttgart. The app only provides a more convenient way to view and filter the data. We are not responsible for the accuracy of the menu data and take no responsibility for any errors or purchases made based on the information provided in the app.
If you've already downloaded and used the app, you might have noticed that the app allows for the creation of user accounts. The app does not require an account to be used, but some features are only available to registered users. These features will be released in future updates.
